Tickets are now on sale for the Broadway revival of Jekyll & Hyde, starring Tony nominee Constantine Maroulis and Grammy nominee Deborah Cox. The musical will play the Marquis Theatre for a limited engagement beginning on April 5 and concluding on June 30. Opening night is set for April 18.
Based on the classic novel The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the show tells the story of a London doctor who attempts to cure his father’s mental illness. The experiment goes awry when he inadvertently creates Mr. Hyde, an evil alter ego who causes violence and destruction.
In addition to Maroulis as Dr. Jekyll and Cox as Lucy, Jekyll & Hyde stars Teal Wicks as Emma Carew, Laird Mackintosh as John Utterson, Richard White as Sir Danvers Carew and David Benoit as Bishop/Spider. The cast also includes Stephen Mitchell Brown, Jerry Christakos, Dana Costello, Wendy Fox, Brian Gallagher, Sean Jenness, Mel Johnson Jr., James Judy, Ashley Loren, Courtney Markowitz, Aaron Ramey, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Rob Richardson, Blair Ross, Doug Storm, Haley Swindal and Jason Wooten.
The production features music by Frank Wildhorn, a book and lyrics by Leslie Bricusse, set design and costume by Tobin Ost, lighting design by Jeff Croiter and sound design by Ken Travis. Jeff Calhoun directs and choreographs.
